Meet
Saddle & Sage

Saddle & Sage grew from a love of plants, old things with good stories, and a ranch that has been part of our family since 1967.

I’m Brandi—the plant lover, maker, educator, treasure hunter, and dreamer behind Saddle & Sage. Alongside my fiancé, Josh, our two teenage boys, my parents, and my grandfather Johnny, I’m working to restore the JJ Ranch one project, one rescued piece, and usually one very dirty weekend at a time.

This land has never been just a backdrop for our business. It is part of who we are. When the original JJ Ranch sign—hung by my great grandfather in 1967—came crashing down during a heavy storm, my dad and I installed its replacement together. It was more than hanging a new sign. It was a reminder that caring for this ranch means preserving its history while making room for its next chapter.

That same spirit lives in Saddle & Sage. We pair plants with reclaimed wood, weathered metal, vintage ranch pieces, and materials that deserve another life. Josh helps turn my ambitious ideas into something sturdy and real, while our family and friends continue to work beside us as we bring the ranch back to life.

We may arrive dusty, paint-covered, and tired—but we believe the best things are built with your hands, shared with the people you love, and rooted in a place that matters.

The Ranch Will Provide

We believe useful materials deserve another chapter, plants make spaces feel alive, and handmade pieces should carry evidence of the hands and places that shaped them.

That means our inventory will never look exactly the same twice—and we think that is part of the beauty.

Around here, we like to say: The ranch will provide.
